We are the cycling club at Valdosta State University. Any student or faculty of VSU can join!

Mission: The Club's mission is to attract road cyclists from Valdosta State that love riding and want to ride with others like themselves.

See the About Us page for more information.

Recent News

The annual Azalea City Century is coming up on March 2nd. The next event will be a race series in mid-March. Start preparing now! See the event schedule page for more information.

Important news to note: We are currently working with Lowndes County Parks and Recreation to create a mountain bike trail system in the region of Oris-Blackburn Park here in Lowndes County. Both the city officials and residents are excited about the idea. We will keep you posted on the development of the proposal. Perhaps within the next month and a half, trail construction can begin.

The Azalea City Cyclists will be meeting weekly on Tuesday/Thursday 6pm and Saturday at 8am.

Join our group on Endomondo.com (club link is below). I have found their workout tracking App to have more functionality than MapMyRide. Some of those better features include Auto Pause and in group competition.

Interested in purchasing some Club apparel? Contact Ed Rollins for more more information.

  • Price Chart (Refer to the lowest price in each column.)

We will occasionally riding with the Azalea City Cyclists (club). These rides will be larger than our usual club rides. For more information visit their website. Currently, Azalea City Cyclist ride time for Saturday mornings is 8am, bright and early.

  • You must also join the Club at Campus Connect to become an active member. We don't like the system but it's something the school requires.
